John Gendall’s  Saltwater fly fishing experience is based in Golden Bay, at the northern tip of the South Island. A beautiful area with stunning golden beaches, coastal and mountain hikes, charming villages and a true sense of what New Zealand is really like.

John’s trout fishing tours are based in the entire top of the South Island which include northern west coast/Nelson and Marlborough regions.   John will accommodate you  in the best area taking into account your fishing preferences and seasonal weather conditions .

Locations include : Murchison, Reefton, st Arnaud , Motueka and Golden Bay for saltwater . Accommodations include a wide variety of options based on preferences and budget.  John is more than happy to discuss these options with you.

Nelson Airport transfers  to and from any of these destinations can be easily arranged .
